He was predeceased by: his father Edward M. Steele; and his sister Carol Wheeldon (Edward). He is survived by: his mother Martha J. Steele; his siblings, Patsy Leis (Dick) of Buffalo and Steven Steele (Kimberly) of Monon; and his uncle Jim James. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
