The passing of Evie Davis in Monroe, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 25, 2024 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Honeycutt and Ozzie Williams Honeycutt; her husband James Thearl Davis; her sons, Mickey and Derrell Davis; and her siblings, Grady, Charles Franklin Honeycutt, Veatrice Evans, Ludie Short, Maxie House, Bonnie Hearn, Joann Bailey and Imogene Scott.

She is survived by : her daughters, Glenda Drake (Phillip) of Hamilton and Becky Spear of Trussville, AL; her grandchildren, Brandon Davis (Monica), Kimberly Davis (Michelle), David Davis (Taylor), Dawn Boggan (Kenny), Daniel Drake (Claire) and Kyle Scott; and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Dallas, Hunter, Cayden, Lane and Owen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the New Prospect Baptist Church (40105 New Prospect Rd, Hamilton, MS 39746). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the New Prospect Baptist Church Building Fund.
