She is survived by: her husband Darrell Hillenburg; her children, Debi Wells (C. E.) of Elkland, MO and Dennis Hillenburg (Jeanette Riggs) of Villa Rica, GA; and her brother David Mitchell (Glenda Wisley) of Camby, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
