With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Keith L. Scherer of Monroeville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scherer and LaVon Scherer (Bauermeister); his sister Robyn Scherer; and his sister-in-law Cindy Scherer. He is survived by: his wife Suzi Scherer of Monroeville, Indiana; his children, Patti Scherer of Bluffton, Indiana, Zach Scherer (Lindsey) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jennifer Mitchel (Dustin) of Decatur, Indiana; his brothers, Bruce Scherer (Brenda) of Hoagland, Indiana, Kevin Scherer (Marci Koons) of Monroeville, Indiana and Barry L. Scherer (Denise) of Monroeville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Londyn Mitchel, Remington Mitchel, Oaklynn Mitchel, Ryder Massoth, Sienna Scherer and Weston Scherer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (1033 E 1100 N, Decatur, IN 46733).
