He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Franzen (Gordon); his children, Elizabeth, James, John, Margaret and Joseph Franzen; and his siblings, JoAnn Olson, Jane Franzen, Michael Franzen, Mary Franzen, Karen Crain (Patrick), Tom Franzen (Angela) and Teresa Henriks (Craig).
