She was predeceased by: her parents, Densel Shelton and Betty L. Shelton-Taber (McQueen); and her sisters, Barbara Craig and Pat Meredith. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Gene" Atkinson of Monrovia; and her children, Rhonda Watson of Mooresville, Rebecca Lee Alexander-Henry, Randy Alexander (Teri) of Monrovia, Scott M. Atkinson (Marlene) and Jeff Atkinson (Rachael) of Clay City. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
