The memory of Gary Wayne Shelton (Monrovia, Indiana), who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Shelton and Mary Christine Shelton (Richards); his wife Peggy Shelton (Mullins); and his brothers, Mark, Nick and Benny Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Mitchell (Jay) of Monrovia, Gary Shelton, Jr. of Mooresville and Steve Shelton (Barbara) of Indianapolis; his siblings, Eric Shelton (Roell) of Eminence, Jeff Shelton, Carole Alford of Spencer, Cindy, Janet and Ed Shelton; and his grandchildren, Brittany Sibbing (Nick) of Coatesville, Kristie Sue Shelton of Martinsville and Steve "Bub" Ferguson (Brandy) of Monrovia. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; along with extended family, and dear friends.
The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Union Friends Cemetery (2038 W S R #42, Mooresville, IN 46158).
