He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Morris and Wanda Lou Morris (Haas); his brothers, Robert and William Morris; his wife Kay Morris (Hamke) of Montezuma; his children, John Morris of Terre Haute, Stephen Morris of Terre Haute and Jennifer Adkisson (Cary); and his aunt Wilma Haas Heady of Terre Haute.
