She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Madison "Jack" Dierdorf, Sr. and Ethel Judd Dierdorf; her husband John Clay Bumgardner; and her siblings, Sandra Purdy and Joseph Dierdorf, Jr. of Terre Haute.
She is survived by: her children, John Bumgardner (Karen) of Conyers, Georgia, Lori Brown (Scott) of Rockville and Tom Bumgardner (Elizabeth) of Zionsville, Indiana; her siblings, Georgia Henderson (Ron) of La Verne and David Dierdorf of Terre Haute; and her grandchildren, Andrew Krout (Jessica), Claire Ivaniuc (Anthony), John Brown (Kristen), Hopper Bumgardner, Lily Bumgardner and Wrigley Bumgardner. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Mack Funeral Home (1072 N Jefferson St, Montezuma, IN 47862). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Montezuma Community Center in memory of Edie.
