He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Martin and Iris L. Martin (Jones); his daughter Megan Effner; and his sisters, Debra Doan and Connie Frink.

He is survived by: his wife Melanie Martin; his children, Jeffery, Danielle Martin, Katlyn Martin and April; his siblings, Robert Martin and Darlene Porter; and his grandchildren, Coreona, Emily and Mariah.
