It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry Doan of Montezuma, Indiana, who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Akers and Viola Akers (Haughee); her sisters, Pat, Beverly, Winona and Betty; her former husband Harold Hight; and her grandson Frankie Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband Buck Doan; and her children, Lisa Effner (Jon), Danny Hight, Debbie Johnson and Dennis Hight (Julie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Montezuma Christian Church, Mecca Christian Church or Alzheimer's Association in memory or Sherry.
