Joseph Earl Matteson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Earl Matteson of Montgomery, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Matteson and Nora Matteson (McCrary); his siblings, Barbara Charles (Bob), Dave Matteson (Carol), Dorothy Grannan, Dana Louise and Jesse Odell; and his nephew Kevin Charles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Lynn Graber (Sean Sellars), Amy Denise Underwood and Megan Brooke Doby; his grandchildren, Brock Mitchell Graber, Garrett Randall Graber, Lexi Lenae Graber, Emily Dawn Underwood, Laban Alan Underwood, Joshua Andrew Underwood, Josiah Alexander Underwood, Alana Isabelle Martinez, Sophia Denae Martinez and Nolan Thomas Doby; his great grandchild Raegan Underwood; his siblings, Lenora Sue Ginergrich (David) and Marty Lynn Matteson; and his siblings' children, Chris Clymer, Chad Clymer, Brett Matteson, Brandon Matteson, Brian Matteson, Cheryl Lynn Wright (Kenny), Stan Charles (Carolyn), Tracy Grannan and Karla McCraken.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle (1600 State St, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
