She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Clerget-Werner and Fern Clerget-Werner (Thrasher); her husband Max "Gene" McKinley; her children, Jeffrey and Diane Bir; her son-in-law Jeff Klopfenstein; and her siblings, Lucian Loyd Clerget and Joyce Fleck.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Henneman of Davenport, IA, Carol Green (John Moore), Sharon McKinley of Monticello, Jane Overton (Lloyd) of Monon, Cathy Klopfenstein of Monticello and Max McKinley, II (Melissa) of West Lafayette; her son-in-law Bob Bir of Crossville, TN; and her sister-in-law Leatha Clerget of Monon. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
