With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Siegfried Bond of Monticello, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lebrecht Wicher and Maria Leinberger. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Bond of Monticello, Indiana; his daughters, Lisa DeYoung (James) of Crown Point and Kimberly Schiffer of Cabery, Illinois; his grandchildren, Cassandra Duffy (Mark), Jacqulynn Caroline Ronkowski, Jacob Allen Schiffer, Hannah Arabella Ronkowski, Nathan Andrew Schiffer and Brianna Renee Schiffer; and his great grandchild Vivienne Duffy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helen Svonavec Memorial Fund for Pets, Inc. to provide medical and surgical care for stray dogs and cats and to help them find forever homes.
