He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Chaney and Anna Chaney (Rothenberger); his siblings, Barbara Zimmerman, Charles Chaney, Larry J., Nancy Mathers and Louise Collins; and his granddaughter Rosalyn Snider.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Chaney (Rector) of Monticello, Indiana; his children, Tonya Roswarski (Tony) of Lafayette, Shaneese Ohman (Austin) of Monticello and Shayla Chaney of Monticello, Indiana; his brothers, Keith A. Chaney of West Lafayette and Al "Bill" Chaney (Sandy) of Lafayette, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Linda Sinette of West Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital or Riley Children's Hospital; envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the charity of choice.
