Debby Diane Jacobs Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Debby Diane Jacobs of Monticello, Indiana. Debby, born on March 3, 1956, passed away on October 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Ritz and Ruth Williamson (Buckingham); her stepfather Billie Williamson; her siblings, Valerie Dennison, Jacqueline Robinson, Candy Ritz and Bobby Ritz; her fiancé Wilton "Willie" Zook; and her close friend Carla Nydegger.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Ritz (Jessica) of Lafayette, Heather Overmyer (Chris) of Monticello, G. William Jacobs of Fishers, Misty Barrett (Jon) of Monticello and Kelly O'Hara of Spencer; her close friends, Angie Larson of Monticello, Deb Gibson of Monticello and Terrie Zook of Monticello; her siblings, Cindy Albaugh, John Ritz (Jan), Glenda Scott of Louisville, KY, Sharon Hussein of New Albany, Tara Reuve (Ben) of New Albany and Mark Scott of Sulphur, IN; her stepmother Nadene Williamson of New Albany; and her grandchildren, Jaiden Ritz of Spencer and Addyson Ritz of Spencer. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Monticello United Methodist Church (200 S Main St, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Monticello United Methodist Church to benefit Soup for the Soul.
