She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ellis and Grace Ellis (Robertson); her son Randall Thacker; and her siblings, Martha Jones, Dorothy Salyers-Hunt, Rosa Darner, Doris Alexander, Eileen Porters, Francis Ellis, William "Buster" Ellis, Calvin Ellis and Donald Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Thacker (Crystal), Debra Miteff (David) and Linda Tripp (Darry); and her brother Eugene Ellis (Peg). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions be made to Star City Church (201 Veterans Memorial Pkwy E, Lafayette, IN 47905).
