She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Spencer and Mae Spencer; and her husband Walter Zarse. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Woods (Gary) of Monticello and Steve Zarse (Jan) of Brookston; her sister Carol Johnson of Peru, IN.; her grandchildren, Ross Woods (Jill) of Brookston, Jeff Woods (Teresa) of Chalmers, Doug Woods (Jessica) of Chalmers, Amy Brown (Matthew) of Otterbein and Tracy Gregory (Matthew) of Brookston; and her great grandchildren, Riley Manahan (Ben), Dalen Woods, Tori, Taylor Woods, Courtney Gretencord, Drew Woods, Max Woods, Alexander Brown (Katelyn), Conner Brown, Kaylee Brown and Cameron Gregory.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home (101 W 4th St, Brookston, IN 47923). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Faye to the Alzheimer's Association.
