He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ervin; his children, Angela McBride (Joe) of Lafayette, IN, Stacie Phillips (Jim) of Carmel, IN, Mandy Justice (Craig) of Rensselaer, IN and James Schnelle Jr. of Rensselaer, IN; and his siblings, Gerald Ervin (Edith) of South Bend, IN, Karen McAffee of Frostproof, FL, Norma Jean Nichols of Oklahoma and Sally Boozer (Brad) of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
