The memory of George Koppelmann of Monticello, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Koppelmann, Sr. and Dorothy Koppelmann (Ostrowski); his wife Donna Lynn Hays; and his siblings, Richard, Kenneth Koppelmann and Mary Ellen Walker.
He is survived by: his son John Koppelmann (Ellen) of Monticello; and his grandsons, Colby and Brody Koppelmann of Monticello.
Memorials may be made to the local AMVETS, the American Legion or the VFW.
