It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harry W. Voorhis of Monticello, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 91, on November 19, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Carl Voorhis, Paul Voorhis, James Jones, Kyra Ough, Margaret Isenhour, Alberta Jones, Paula Stewart and Martha Ann Voorhis; his sons-in-law, Richard Myers and Russell Metcalf; and his stepson Steve McClure.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Myers of Oceanside, CA, Brenda Metcalf of Monticello, Rhonda Stangle (Eukie) of Monticello and Angela Dyer (Ken) of Monticello; his stepchildren, Mike McClure (Helen), Cindy Raderstorf (Doug) and Mark McClure (Kerry); his grandchildren, Chris Myers (Tara), Carrie Myers, Monica Macias, Kimberly Reed (Chris), Joe Stangle (Bethany), Betheny Masterson (Bill), Kyle Dyer (Courtney) and Kelsey Hampton (Drew); his great grandchildren, Amelie, Samantha, Baileigh, Jace, Chloe, Sydney, Jackson, Mackenzie, Aurora, Claira, Braxton, Barrick, Bodie and Chandler; and his close friend Duchess. He is also survived by twelve step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8pm on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Monticello United Methodist Church Connection Court using entrance B. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a virtual visitation will take place at the church where friends may visit with the family in the most personal way possible. The family wants all attendees to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be given to Soup for the Soul at the Monticello United Methodist Church, S.O.M.A. benefiting the Riverwalk Project, or to the Monticello Rotary Club for park projects.
