Though Hurchel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his brother Edward Perkins. He is survived by : his wife Lillian Imus; and his children, Angie Murray (Trevor) of Mooresville, IN, Michael Perkins (Daisha) of Monticello, IN, Bobby Perkins of Indianapolis, IN and Steven Perkins (Heather) of Monticello, IN. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home (6368 US-24, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, noting on the check that it is for Multiple Myeloma or to St. Jude's Hospital.
