She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Odean Lawson and Anita Lawson (Baker); her siblings, Clarence Lawson, Jr. and Linda Armstrong; her brother-in-law Scot Armstrong; and her nephew John William Gross.
She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia A. Gross (Roger) of Monticello, Karen Korbe (Russ) of League City, Carol Locke (Steve) of Dallas, Amy Doyle of Denison and Tammy Kane of Sugar Land, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Emily Albaugh (Chris) of Flora, Megan Doyle (Chris Currens) of Denison, Mason Doyle (Cali Espino) of Bonham, Troy Kane of Sugar Land, Texas, Caleb Kane of Sugar Land, Texas, Aaron Kane of Sugar Land, Texas and Abigail Kane of Sugar Land, Texas; and her great-nephews, Emerson and Arie Albaugh of Flora, Indiana. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Guernsey Church of the Brethren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (6836 S 700 E, Monticello, IN 47960).
Memorial donations may be given to Guernsey Church of the Brethren.
