He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Frances Deno (Miiller) and Raymond E. "Ray" Deno; and his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Deno and Beverly Hook. He is survived by: his son Augustus "Gus" Deno of Monticello, Indiana; his brothers, Ronald Deno (Lynn) of Monticello, Steve Deno (Debbie) of Gosport and Jerry Deno (Karen) of Wolcott, Indiana; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Long (John) of Reynolds; his aunt Martha Deno of Brook, Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Gabe Deno (Polly), Josh Deno (Lindsey), Tim Hook, Emily Rhodenbaugh (Kent), Sarah Hook, Kristina Hook, Jeremy Deno (Jane), Jenny Siemers (Chris), Angela Tate (Tony), Edward Deno (Jennifer), Darrell Powell, Shane Townsend, Ashlee Wright and Zachary Deno. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Deibels Funeral Home (601 Gordon Rd, Monticello, IN 47960). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello (601 Gordon Rd, Monticello, IN 47960).
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family.
