It is with sadness that the passing of John Van Cleve (Monticello, Indiana) is shared. John Van passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Van Cleve. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his mother Adele; his daughters, Megan Van Cleve, Andrea Cohen (Tony), Sage, Jewel, Violet, Lilah, Cora, Guinevere, Heidi, Brittany McCall (Caleb), Ryan, Layne, Madilyn, Tiffany Harrison (Brian), Gradyn, Camden and Pearl; his siblings, Karen Van Cleve and Craig Van Cleve; his aunt Rose Meyer; and his niece Jessika Simo (Matt). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home (202 S Illinois St, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Kairos Prison Ministry of Indiana.
