With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia A. Pitts of Monticello, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chester and Sally Hughes (Elmore); her husband Donald Pitts; her son David Wayne Burton; her siblings, Richard Hughes, Barbara Brenner, Ruby Lowe and Doris Moss; her grandson Dustin Rhodes; and her great grandchild Caleb Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Solis (Roger) of Monticello, Regina Rhodes (Doug) of Illinois, Darrell Burton Jr. (Diane) of Anderson and Zoe'Buchan (Bill) of California; and her brother John Hughes (Mary) of Chesterfield. She is also survived by ten grandchild, one bonus grandchild, many great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
