We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Richard J. Norris of Monticello, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred James and Malinda Norris (Sayler); his stepsons, Chico Johns and Robert Johns; and his sister Calley Lerma.
He is survived by: his wife Carlotta Whiteman; his children, Thomas Norris of Texas, Chris Norris of Lafayette, Brandy Murch (Barry) of Kentucky and Marcy Walton (Donald) of Monticello; his siblings, Larry Norris (Lucy) of Monticello and Kay Johnson (Ron) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Jason Norris, Justin Norris, Nathan Norris, Nicholas Norris, Crystal Palladino, Kayla Murch, Shelby Murch, Ashley Murch, Jacob Walton, Katie Johns, Amanda Johns and Dustin Johns. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home - Monticello (6368 US-24, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home (6368 US-24, Monticello, IN 47960).
