He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Snyder of Lafayette and Julie Bunch; his sister Noel Gaskell of Phoenix, AZ.; his grandchildren, Dennis Trafny, David Trafny, Brian Bowles, Jessica Roseberry and Jacquelyn Rojas; and his great grandchildren, Catelyn, Kya, David Jr., Jordan, Luke, Avery, Zachary, Helena, Roman and Levi.
