He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Hough (Pierson) and Joseph Hough; and his siblings, Joseph E. Hough, Jr., Gary Hough, Carol Sue Ederer, Michael Hough and Harry James "Jimmy" Hough.
He is survived by: his son Micheal Hough (Cherylene) of Kokomo; his sisters, Rosemary Newton of Florida and Margaret "Peggy" Lake of Nebraska; and his caregiver Andrew Breedlove of Monticello. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
