She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bush and Ruth Bush (Hoilman); her husband Ken; and her sisters, Nancy Bush and Betty Lou Parmeter.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Houghton (Kathy) of Monticello, Vicki Lynn Lenahan (Logan) of Downers Grove, IL, Jeffery Max Houghton (Lindy) of Saginaw, MI, Jack Alan Houghton (Candace) of Bonner Springs, KS and Valeri Ann Frank (Steve) of Monticello; and her adoptive son Kim Whitmer of Krum, TX.. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and spouses; twenty-seven great grandchildren and spouses; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home (202 S Illinois St, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the White County Food Pantry or the Monticello United Methodist Church.
