He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pat and Pauline Nibarger (Bye); his wife Shirley Anne Nibarger (Deeth); his children, Johnny Major and Barbara Major; his siblings, Bob, Fred, Dick, Tom Nibarger and Virginia Poling; his son-in-law Victor Grass; and his grandson Travis Grass.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Grass of Festus, MO, David Nibarger (Cindy) of Festus, MO, Desra Rhodes (Rikki) of Festus, MO and Tyson (Angie); his siblings, Roger Nibarger of Pennville, IN, Betty Young of Redkey, IN and Sue Grayson (Roger) of Marion, IN; his grandchildren, John "Bud" Christopher Major, Cassie Major, Jessica Grass, Nathaniel Grass, Maci Nibarger, Tristan Askins, Dyllan Rhodes and Kodie Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Parrish, Damian Walden, Xavier Walden, Emmigen Walden, Archer Rhodes and Blade Rhodes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
