He was predeceased by: his aunt Carol Landon; and his uncles, Larry Poling and Dave Landon. He is survived by: his wife Abigail L. Morrison (Pequignot) of Montpelier, IN; his daughters, Adalynn A. and Ava C. Morrison of Montpelier, IN; his parents, Philip J. Morrison and Linda S. Morrison (Poling) of Hartford City, IN; his parents-in-law, David A. and Gloria J. Pequignot of Columbia City, IN; his sister-in-law Angela Lane of Columbia City, IN; his nephew Haddyx Lane of Columbia City, IN; his cousins, Jennifer Thomas of Hartford City, IN, Scott Poling of Hartford City, IN, Traci Ball and Ritchie Harris; his aunts, Shirley Clark of Alexandria, IN and Cindy Bogue of Windfall, IN; and his uncle Jerry Poling of Marion, IN.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be made for his Daughter's Education or for a Tree to be planted in Memory of John at their home, Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
