She was predeceased by: her parents, Vergil "Barney" Black and Edna Black (Smith); and her husband Lincoln Lee Cross. She is survived by: her children, Alan Cross (Pamela) of Mooreland and Susie Were (Kevin) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Eric and Kaley Were; her great grandchildren, Henry and Charlie Were; and her sister Patti Warner of Yorktown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
