She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schummer and Olive Schummer (Zachritz); and her brother Walter Schummer. She is survived by: her husband John Mess of Moores Hill, IN; her children, John Mess (Donna) of Bedford, IN, Kevin Mess (Tracy) of Guilford, IN and Cindy Gulley of Dillsboro, IN; and her grandchildren, Brian Mess and Eden Gulley.
