He was predeceased by: his mother Henrietta Marksberry (Birkle); his great grandchild Hailey Marie Pyles; and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Marksberry and Fred Tiemeyer. He is survived by: his father Orville Marksberry; his wife Donna Ann Marksberry (Huffman) of Moores Hill; his sons, Rick Marksberry (Kay) of Franklin, Randy Marksberry (Lisa) of Milan, Gary Marksberry (Stacy) of Moores Hill and Larry Marksberry (Shawna) of Aurora; his siblings, Ronnie Marksberry of Moores Hill and Judy Tiemeyer of West Chester, Ohio; his grandchildren, Tim Marksberry, Brittany Doller (Brandon), Ricky Marksberry, Sarah Pyles (Jeremy Miller), Brian Marksberry (Amber), Casey Marksberry (Sierra), Heather Miller (Mike) and Danny Marksberry (Candra); and his great grandchildren, Jade Miller, Brody Doller, Aiden Pyles, Audrey Marksberry, Chloe Pyles, Madison Doller, Bryson Miller and Luke Marksberry.

Memorials may be given in honor of Gary to Moores Hill Church of Christ or Forest Hill Cemetery.
