He is survived by: his spouse Cliffie Ryan (Adams); his sons, John Ryan (Melissa) of Wisconsin, Nakia Scruggs of Moores Hill and Leo Scruggs of Moores Hill; his siblings, Richard Ryan (Brenda) of Cincinnati, Patrick Ryan of Cincinnati, Judy Maness (Gary) of Cincinnati and Roger Ryan (Darlene) of Cold Springs, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Amaryllis and Cheyenne Ryan; and his mother-in-law Joyce Adams of Moores Hill.
Memorials may be given in honor of John to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
