It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Maas Jr. of Moores Hill, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Maas Sr. and JoAnn Maas (Matacia); and his siblings, Mike Maas and Kathy Maas. He is survived by: his wife Angie Maas; his sons, John T. Maas III and Andrew Maas; his siblings, Tony (Barb), Jerry (Amy), Joe Maas (Robin) and Mary Lou Kern (Tim); his granddaughter Scarlett Watts; Gina and Chris Watts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic School or the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute.
