He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard (Shorty) and Margaret Belle McClanahan; his sister Kathy; his son Brien; and his grandson Gavin.
He is survived by: his brothers, Patrick and Kelly; his half-brother Casey McClanahan; and his son Stephen. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 209.
