He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Head and Rita Virginia Head (Boyd). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Mills); his children, Gary Paul Head (Annette) of Mooresville and Deanna Jane Head Hurle (Louis) of Avon; his sister Virginia Sue Hammel of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Rachel, Bryce, Sarah (Alex) and Madison Jane; and his nephews, Paul Hammel and Jeff Hammel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County.
