It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene R. Longardner (Mooresville, Indiana), who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes "John" James and Elizabeth Rooze (Luurtsema); and her siblings, John, Clayton, Raymond, Gordon, Uldene and Charlene.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Gross of Bloomington and Todd Gross (Laura) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Matthew Gross (Samantha), John Gross, Taylor Russell (Chase), Jourdan Carroll (Brandon) and Payton Gross; and her great grandchild Emberlee Gross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service (4165 E Allison Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mooresville Cemetery.
