David R. Mortensen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David R. Mortensen of Mooresville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Mortensen and Cheryl Smith (Hansen). He is survived by: his wife Kathi Mortensen (Galt); his daughter Brandi Ramey (Todd); his grandson Eli Ramey; and his siblings, Lynn Bierd, Lisa Sanford, Carrie Mortensen, Michelle Mortensen, Terry Sanford (Cindy), Dan Berberich (Diana) and Shelly Corbin (Anthony). He is also survived by friends and coworkers whom he considered brothers.
David's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
