He was predeceased by : his parents, John H. McClure and Lela Madge McClure; his brothers, Harold McClure and Junior McClure; and his stepson Robert "Bob" Gregg.

He is survived by : his wife Martha A. Gregg (Bowman); his daughters, Teresa Stagner (late Terrell) of Plainfield, Claudia Pruitt of Mooresville and Brenda Caudill (Terry) of Plainfield; his stepsons, Michael Gregg (Mary) of Trafalgar, Steve Gregg (Kim) of Gainesville and Raymond Gregg (Anna) of Simpsonville; and his grandchildren, Tracey Stagner, Trina Smile (Ted), Karey Woodley (Tim), Les Crouse, Jessica Caudill Nayak (Arpan) and Matthew Caudill. He is also survived by several step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren with one on the way; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
