He is survived by: his mother Connie Darlene Duncan (Crowder) of Mooresville; his wife Michele Short of Mooresville; his children, Laurin Mappes (Cody) of Martinsville, Dustin Short (Makayla) of Mooresville and Adam Short (Jayden) of Omaha, Nebraska; his siblings, Donnie Short (Janet) of Indianapolis, Donna Craig, Ruby Zoder, Carolyn Patterson, Judy Simmons and Phyllis Clark; his grandchildren, Caysen, Myla, Caden and London; and his pet Smoke.
