He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Marr and Violet Louise Marr Sr. (Davis); his wife Beverley Marr; and his brothers, Edgar Jr., James S. and Paul R. Marr.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Marr of Indianapolis and Joshua Marr (Susan) of Berlin, Germany.; his stepchildren, Melissa "Missy" Carmin (Danny) of Shelbyville and Michael Miers of Brazil; his children, Charles Roberts and Peggy Kelley; his grandchildren, Karl Marr, Cody Hudson, Kyle Hudson, Hunter Miers of Trevor Miers, C. J, Leanne Roberts and Gunner Kelley; his great grandchildren, Everleigh Hudson, Blakeleigh Hudson, Dawson Hudson and Ella Grace Miers; and his girlfriend Martha Roberts of Trafalgar.
