He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Beverly and Edith Naomi Gregory (McQuiston); and his siblings, Ralph Eugene Gregory and Rose Mary Gregory Tumey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Gregory (Shover); his children, John Robert Gregory, Jr., Katholeen Kiley Gregory Jackson (Roger) and Jeremy Ryan Gregory (Melissa); his sister Beverly Ann Gregory Heacox; and his grandchildren, Gregory Stephen Long, Casey Ryan Long (Jocelyn), Jadon Rose Jackson Tinkle (Cody), Abbigail Breanne Gregory, Paige Amanda Gregory and Jeren Ryan Gregory.
