He is survived by: his wife Lora Johnson (Shoults); his children, Paul Edward Johnson (Krista), Heather Doty (Robert) and Dale Snavely, Jr. (Jackie); and his siblings, Mark A. Cooney (Julie) and Mary Ann Moore (Michael). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
