She was predeceased by: her mother Mable A. Pranaitis (Fisher); her husband Monte Lee Coate of Monte's Pizza; her grandson Joshua Coate; and her siblings, Jim Allen and Mary Preston.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffery Coate of Mooresville, Tom Coate of Noblesville, Curt Coate of Mooresville and Doug Coate of Vinton, IA; her sister Judy Jankowski of Sun City, AZ; and her sisters-in-law, Toni Smith of Indianapolis and Linda Allen of Greenwood. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
