He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mary Oniones; his father DeWayne Hartsburg; his brother DeWayne "Bub" Hartsburg; and his stepfather James Mayberry. He is survived by: his daughter Nena Brock (Dean); his mother Dixie Mayberry; his grandchildren, Heather Walters (Darren) and Clint Brock (Sara); his great grandchildren, Makaela, Colton, Kelsey, Ryleigh and Kaiden; and his siblings, Dianna Grindean (Gary), Christopher Hartsburg and Gaylord Hartsburg.
