He is survived by: his wife Wanda Marshall; his children, Christina Phelps (Jeff) and Wendell Marshall, Jr. (Kelley); his siblings, Wayne Russell (Sandy), William Marshall (Loretta), Sherry Marshall and Tammy Montgomery (Rick); his grandchildren, Skylar Carr (Tony), Jordan Marshall and Lillian Marshall; and his great grandchild Nevaeh Carr. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (39 E High St, Mooresville, IN 46158). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the White Lick Cemetery (13340 N White Lick Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158).
