He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Lucy Kendrick Spalding (Lewis); his former wife Sherry "Deanne" Spalding (Dubois); and his stepmother Catherine Hagan Spalding. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judi" Spalding (Jacobs); his children, William "Bill" Spalding (Michelle "Mickey"), Antony "Tony" Spalding and Shannon Spalding; his stepsons, Brian Martin (Tracy), Jeffrey Martin (Jeanne) and Wade Martin (Traci); and his siblings, George Spalding, Jr., Richard Spalding, Ernie Spalding, Daniel Spalding, Lucy Gorman and Julia Spalding Hagan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
